FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Colorado craft brewer New Belgium is building a new brewery in Asheville, North Carolina as it expands into the East Coast market.
The Fort Collins Coloradoan reports that construction at the site of Asheville’s former stockyards began with a toast of beer on Thursday.
The brewery is expected to be operating by late next year and will employ about 140 people.
