I'd like to thank the Herald staff for the article “Teens can meet four popular authors Tuesday” written on April 19 I'm glad to have found out about this. Community events like these are great for all students and families to come together and be around what they enjoy doing most, and meeting new people. Honestly, it's also a great marketing strategy for students who haven't heard of these authors, which I think is brilliant. Buy one of their books and your family gets in for free, sounds like a deal to me.
Meeting up with authors of some teens favorite books is something special. It may not seem like a lot, but it could mean the world to someone there. University Book Store is doing well for the community, and for the readers. Encouraging students to read more in general is great to continue doing. Hopefully there will be more events like this in the future!
