Prep softball: Jackson 2, Kamiak 1 (10)

MUKILTEO — Kayla Ellis hit double to the left field wall in the top of the 10th inning that scored Tiana Lopez from second base, pacing Jackson to a 2-1 win over Kamiak in a Wesco 4A South game. Timberwolves starting pitcher Sophie Frost struck out 12 and allowed four hits in the complete-game victory. Kristyna Phan and Antionette Watson both hit doubles to lead the Knights in the loss. With the win Jackson clinches a district playoff berth.
