Prep softball: Snohomish 7, Monroe 2

MONROE — Snohomish starting pitcher Alyssa Simons struck out 11 in a complete-game performance to beat Monroe and help extend the Panthers’ perfect season to 17-0. Simons also contributed on offense, batting 3-for-4, with a double and a triple, and catcher Morgan Greenlee also had three hits and scored two runs. Rachael Delamare doubled and drove in a run for the Bearcats.
