MONROE — Local musician Bronn Journey is hosting a concert at 7 p.m. Saturday to benefit Housing Hope’s upcoming Monroe Family Village project. It’s a 47-unit development for homeless and low-income families in the Sky Valley.
The benefit concert is expected to feature several local artists at the Wagner Performing Arts Center.
Tickets are $10, available through brownpaper tickets or at the door.
Monroe Family Village is the largest development in Housing Hope’s history. The project, which has been in the works for almost two years, plans to include units with affordable rent. It is expected to have more than 3,700 square feet of common space. The organization plans use it as a regional service center and include offices for case and property management. It is expected to include community rooms, space for resident meetings and College of Hope classes.
Providing greater access to these services in east Snohomish County means Housing Hope participants won’t have to travel on multiple buses to the Everett campus to get help.
