Prep baseball: Lake Stevens 3, Monroe 0

LAKE STEVENS — Jacob Eason batted 2-for-3 and earned his third victory of the season on the mound as Lake Stevens defeated Monroe in a Wesco 4A North game. Hunter Bingham went 2-for-3 for the Bearcats in the loss. With the victory, the Vikings remain tied for first place with Snohomish in the 4A North standings with one game to play.
