The Seahawks called a press conference for 11 a.m. Wednesday, but Richard Sherman beat them to announcing the news on his own blog. As expected, Sherman has signed a contract extension to stay in Seattle (he was heading into the final year of his contract).
Sherman, a two-time first-team All Pro, announced on his website that the deal is worth $57.4 million over four years, including $40 million in guaranteed money.
More after we hear from Sherman.
