PORT TOWNSEND — Port Townsend police say they have a high level of concern for a missing Sequim woman after her backpack was found in bushes near where she was last seen.
Police and sheriff’s detectives are looking for Lauryn R. Garrett, 23, who was last seen May 1 at a park-and-ride in Port Townsend as she was on her way home from Sedro-Woolley.
The Peninsula Daily News reports the backpack was discovered by the woman’s mother.
Fliers seeking information about Garrett say she is 5-foot-7, about 125 pounds with brown hair. She has a tattoo of a bird behind her left ear and a tattoo on her right wrist of Washington state.
