Prep baseball: Cascade 10, Monroe 0 (5)

EVERETT — K.J. Brady threw a two-hit shutout and batted 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs scored as Cascade defeated Monroe in a 4A District 1 Tournament game. Alex Spahman had both hits for the Bearcats in the loss. With the win the Bruins advance to face Snohomish on Monday at 7 p.m. at Everett Memorial Stadium. Monroe travels to play at Jackson in a loser-out game on Monday at 4 p.m.
