Prep softball: Everett 3, Marysville Getchell 2

EVERETT — Everett’s Sydney Taggart doubled home Erin Gordon with the go-ahead run in the fifth inning and the Seagulls held off Marysville Getchell in a Wesco 3A North game. Seagulls catcher Bailey Formon-Haynes had two hits and scored two runs. Kymberlie Devlin batted 2-for-4 for the Chargers.
