Prep softball: Stanwood 2, Marysville Pilchuck 1 (8)

STANWOOD — Stanwood catcher Maggie Matthews hit a walk-off double in the bottom of the eighth inning as the Spartans edged Marysville Pilchuck in a Wesco 3A North game. Sarrah Flynn doubled twice and scored the lone Tomahawks’ run.
