MARYSVILLE — The cause of a house fire in Marysville on Monday night remains under investigation.

The fire was reported at 5:54 p.m. in a detached garage in the 7300 block of 51st Avenue NE, just north of Grove Street, Marysville fire battalion chief Aaron Soper said.

No injuries were reported. The American Red Cross was called to help three adults who were displaced. The garage was destroyed and the attic sustained some smoke damage. Smoke also filled the house.

Soper on Tuesday estimated the damage to the home at more than $100,000.
