The 22-year-old was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he was pronounced dead. His wife was shaken but unhurt.
Chris Norman of Federal Way police tells KOMO officers responded to reports of a shooting just after 1 a.m. and found the man had been shot through the windshield.
Police have not yet released any information about possible suspects.
The scene is about four blocks from a fatal shooting last Wednesday at another Federal Way apartment parking lot.
