Prep baseball: Shorewood 4, Meadowdale 1

SHORELINE — Max Wagner went 2-for-2 with two runs scored and Steffen Torgersen (1-for-2) added an RBI as Shorewood defeated Meadowdale in a 3A District 1 tournament loser-out game. Harrison Jacobs had a double for the Mavericks, who saw their season end with the loss. The Thunderbirds move on to face Marysville Pilchuck at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the third-place game for the district’s final state berth.
