Cougar trapped near Ellensburg after attacks

ELLENSBURG ó State Fish and Wildlife officers trapped a cougar Thursday north of Ellensburg that they believe has been attacking farm animals and a pet dog.
Capt. Rich Mann told Daily Record the cat had to be killed because itís attacking livestock.
Itís believed the cougar attacked and injured a dog Wednesday and that it also attacked a sheep and two pygmy goats in the same area.
