Thode's hat trick leads Murphy past Sedro-Woolley

SEDRO-WOOLLEY — Christian Thode scored the hat trick and Brady Henderson added a goal and four assists as Archbishop Muprhy defeated Sedro-Woolley in a 2A District 1/2 third-place match. With the victory the Wildcats earn the district's No. 3 seed and earn a matchup against North Kitsap in the first round of the 2A State Tournament at a date and time to be determined.

Goals—Kenny Ficklin (AM), Isaac Swenson (SW) 2, Christian Thode (AM) 3, Brady Henderson (AM). Assists—Henderson (AM) 4, Keaton Weyers (AM). Goalkeepers—Sedro-Woolley: Michael Moser. Archbishop Murphy: Ryan Henderson and Trevor Johnston. Records—Sedro-Woolley 13-4-3 overall. Archbishop Murphy 16-3-1.
