Seahawks sign draft picks Justin Britt and Garrett Scott

Offensive tackle Justin Britt, the second of Seattle’s two second-round picks in the 2014 draft, announced on Twitter that he has signed his rookie contract.

The Seahawks later announced the signings of Britt as well as tackle Garrett Scott, a sixth-round pick.

Britt, the No. 64 overall pick, played both left and right tackle at Missouri, and is expected to compete with Michael Bowie for the starting job on the right side of Seattle’s offensive line.

With Britt and Scott under contract, the Seahawks have now signed seven of their nine draft picks. Fourth-round picks WR Kevin Norwood and LB Kevin Pierre-Louis remain unsigned. Scott sat out Seattle's rookie minicamp having not yet passed his physical; his signing indicates he has since passed it.
