Mariner High School evacuated briefly due to smoky smell

EVERETT Mariner High School was evacuated about 9:30 a.m. Friday after the smell of smoke was reported in a second-floor wing of the building, school officials said.

The cause of the smoke was believed to be electrical. Students were allowed back inside after about a half-hour.

No injuries were reported.
