RICHLAND — Jackson’s Ben Mietzer and Cascade’s Patrick Chung both won their first-round matches at the 4A state boys tennis tournament but lost in the quarterfinal round. Chung, who beat Callan Peterson in the consolation round, plays Thomas Jefferson’s Alex Chan in the fourth-place match on Saturday.
“Not the way I would’ve liked, but I made it to tomorrow!” Chung tweeted on Friday.
