Senior Center

Really has something for everyone

Everett's senior center was named after an honorable man named Carl Gipson. Since joining the center I have had many enjoyable days there. The reason I joined was because I couldn't do anything for myself and the community by sitting at home all day.
Since then, I have enjoyed many of the activities available at the center. To mention a few — there are ceramics, clogging, knitting, crocheting, ribbon embroidery, wood carving, billiards, bingo, karaoke, table tennis, Wii golf, Wii bowling, and square dancing. Senior dances are held once a month.
Other services include the veterans club, Toastmasters, book clubs, computer lessons and many others.
The director and her staff are all gracious people who help seniors.
The center is located at Pacific and Lombard streets in Everett.
I am sure you will be made as welcome as I was when I joined five enjoyable years ago.
Ernest Arnold
