MARYSVILLE — The Everett Merchants used a seven-run seventh inning to pull away for an 8-0 win over the Northwest Honkers in a Pacific International League game on Tuesday night.
Ryan Malone and Mark Meadalia led Everett with two RBI a piece and starting pitcher Alex Shaffer and reliever Jeff Frost combined for the Merchants’ first shutout of the season.
Everett (4-1) faces the Honkers again this Friday at 6 p.m. at Newport High School in Bellevue.
