Archbishop Murphy High School has announced the hiring of Kelly Richardson as the Wildcats new head volleyball coach.
Richardson, who replaces Andrew Ness, has been the head volleyball coach at Southwest Baptist University since 2007.
Richardson played volleyball for Evangel University in college and was named first-team all-conference three times, second-team all-region twice, a member of 10 all-tournament teams and a third-team All-American. She still holds five different school records.
“Kelly will be an incredible asset to our school,” vice principal of athletics and activities Alex Crane said in a press release provided by the school. “She is energetic, motivated and is a student of the game.”
Archbishop Murphy went 13-5 last season.
