Sorticulture: Everett’s celebration of arts and gardens is Friday to Sunday at Legion Memorial Park in Everett. There are many vendors with gardening supplies, plants and art items. There will also be music, food and events for kids. Get more info in our story here.
Arty garage sale: Schack Art Center’s popular artists’ garage sale is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the center, 2921 Hoyt Ave. More than 100 artists will offer seconds and old stock as well as art supplies. More info here.
D-Day: The Historic Flight Foundation will honor the 70th anniversary of D-Day from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday. Military vehicles will be displayed as well as period uniforms, art, radios and ’40s-style fashion. Tickets are $10-$14. Get them here.
Cops &Kids: A free family event is from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Terraces, Alderwood Mall, Lynnwood. See police cars and motorcycles and talk to police officers. There will be free prizes and entertainment by the Seattle area Police Pipes and Drums band.
Kids Bike Swap: The 12th annual Kids Bike Swap offered by Sharing Wheels Community Bike Shop is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the shop, 2531 Broadway, Everett. Exchange your kid’s old bike for a refurbished and larger bicycle. Small price may be included in upgrades, but helmets are included. All bikes given safety checks. Bike donations accepted. Interurban Car 55: Lynnwood’s Heritage Park will host an open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. The park, located east of I-5 at the corner of Poplar Way and Alderwood Mall Parkway, is a cultural, heritage and visitor resource. The open house events offer an opportunity for people to tour the various historical structures, including Interurban Car 55, that have been preserved at the park.
Mamma Mia! Sno-King Chorale presents a musical performance of the ABBA pop hits from the ’70s. The concert will be performed twice on Saturday in Edmonds. Get details in our story here.
