When pulled over by cop, keep hands on wheel

KENNEWICK ó Many drivers who are pulled over by a police officer know they will be asked for their license and registration.
Donít be too eager to reach for them. Wait until you are asked.
Kennewick Office Keith Noble told KEPR-TV that when officers see drivers reaching for their wallet or glove box, they donít know if theyíre trying to hide something or grab a weapon.
Noble said if youíre stopped by an officer, pull over in a safe area and wait with your hands on the steering wheel until the officer asks for your license and registration.
