Summer wine walks return to Snohomish on Saturday

The Sunsets in Snohomish Summer Wine Walks return to downtown Snohomish, beginning Saturday.
Snohomish merchants will host wine tastings in their stores from 5 to 8 p.m. The wine walks continue the second Saturday of month through summer, July 12, Aug. 9 and Sept. 13.
Bring your own glass, and for $12 for advance tickets or $15 at the door, you can get eight wine tastes. Additional tastes are $1 each. Commemorative glasses are available for purchase for $10 at each shop location.
For tickets, more information and a list of shops participating and the wines each is serving, go to www.historicdowntownsnohomish.org/. Among the wineries participating are Washington state wineries Airfield Estates, Bunnell Family Cellar and Red Sky Winery.
Proceeds support downtown Snohomish revitalization and beautification projects.
Other stores will stay open late for evening shoppers, and selected restaurants offer dining specials for event guests.
