Wine gives hot sauce a tangy new twist

Fire up dad's grilled meat-and-vegetables dinner with a wine-accented chili sauce from Jojo's Sriracha.
Jolene Collins, a Brooklyn-based small-batch maker of chili sauces, has teamed with California's Ravenswood Winery, incorporating its petite sirahs and zinfandels into a pair of chili sauces.
We found a slight fruitiness in the Ravenswood Zinfandel Chili Sauce before the chilies kicked in, and a deeper earthiness in the Petite Sirah Chili Sauce until a serious fire hit our taste buds. A 6.4-ounce jar is $14. Find it online at shop.ravenswoodwinery.com/sriracha.
