Accounting grad from Olympia new UW student regent

SEATTLE — Washington Gov. Jay Inslee has appointed Marnie Brown of Olympia as the next student member of the University of Washington Board of Regents.
Brown is a recent UW accounting graduate who is returning in the coming school year to work on a master’s degree in tax accounting.
The university says Brown is interning this summer with Ernst & Young. She has worked as a campus tour guide and served on the University Book Store board of trustees.
