The Marysville Community Parks Foundation is continuing to raise remaining funds for the $325,000 project.

Mill Creek: Strandy joins planning panelDan Strandy has been appointed to serve on the Snohomish County Planning Commission through July 2016. Strandy, of Mill Creek, is to replace Keith Banes. The planning commission provides recommendations to the County Council on proposed changes to the comprehensive plan and development regulations.
Monroe: City Council hearingThe Monroe City Council has scheduled a public hearing for 7 p.m. Tuesday to take comments related to the City’s Council’s intent to declare utility property as surplus. The property is at the southwest corner of the intersection of Ingraham Road and 134th Street. It is commonly known as the Ingraham well site.
The council might take action following the hearingat City Hall, located at 806 West Main St.
People may provide written comments prior to the hearing.
The draft resolution declaring the property surplus is available for review at City Hall from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.
