Davis, Juulsen summoned

Hockey Canada released its list of 44 players invited to attend its summer camp to determine selection for the U-18 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup, and two Everett players made the cut.

Defensemen Kevin Davis and Noah Juulsen, both coming off impressive rookie campaigns as 16-year-olds, were among the 16 d-men selected. Davis, from Kamloops, B.C., had one goal and eight assists in 65 games last season. Juulsen, from Abbotsford, B.C., had two goals and eight assists in 59 games.

The camp is Aug. 2-5 in Calgary. The tournament is Aug. 11-16 in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
