SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco’s Tim Lincecum threw a no-hitter against San Diego on Wednesday as the Giants beat San Diego 4-0 at AT&T Park.
It was the second no-hitter in the past 12 months for Lincecum. The first one also came against the Padres, who Lincecum, 30, no-hit at Petco Park last July.
Lincecum joins Addie Joss as the only players in MLB history to throw two no-hitters against the same team. Joss no-hit the White Sox in 1908 and 1910, so this hasn’t happened in over a century.
