The Merchants fell behind 2-0 in the first inning and trailed the Guns until the fourth inning, when Everett scored four runs.
Josh Potter began the rally with a single, John Doering and Ty Holm walked to load the bases and Jacob Sells hit a three-run double. Clay Trushinsky later singled home Sells and Everett led 4-2.
The Merchants added another run in the fifth inning to make it 5-2. The Guns scored twice in the ninth inning before closer Cody Culp entered the game and shut them down.
Everett starter Cooper Jansen pitched six innings, settling down to hold the Guns scoreless after giving up the two in the first inning.
