Sgt. Fred Neiman says a boater called 911 late Tuesday afternoon to report a body in the North Fork Lewis River in the Woodland area. Divers recovered that man’s body from about 10 feet of water. On Tuesday evening, the body of a 45-year-old man was recovered from the East Fork of the Lewis River at Moulton Falls in Yacolt. Neiman says witnesses report that a man jumped from the rocks at Moulton Falls into the swirling water. When he didn’t resurface, they called 911.
Divers found his body.
