EVERETT — Everett Fire Department crews were called to the Pinehurst neighborhood Friday at 8:18 a.m. in response to a report of a house fire with a resident still inside.
Crews arriving at the corner of McDougall and Monroe Avenues found smoke coming from upstairs windows of a house. The resident was found to have left the house prior to the firefighters’ arrival.
The fire was extinguished, but a damage estimate was not available yet. An investigation to determine the cause of the fire is under way.
