This week’s best bets

Today

But there’s a bigger problem: While in space, she somehow became pregnant. Uh-oh. Baby (or alien?) on board. 9 p.m., CBS (Channel 7).

The mix of money laundering, police corruption, drug wars and culture clashes continues to make for a very dark crime thriller as The Bridge returns for Season 2. Diane Kruger and Demian Bichir star. 10 p.m., FX.

Thursday

Friday

It’s a good night to chill out as Frozen, the box-office blockbuster from Disney, gets a cable TV airing just so we can hear Idina Menzel sing “Let It Go” for the millionth time. 8 p.m., Starz.

Saturday

“Presumed Dead in Paradise” is the intriguing title for a TV film about a trouble teen who becomes embroiled in a dark conspiracy after everyone thinks she drowned while vacationing on a tropical island with her estranged stepmother. 8 p.m., Lifetime.
