The work will take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is expected to take approximately 10 weeks to complete. There will also be heavy equipment moving around the work site during those hours.
This is the first phase of a series of upgrades to the north Everett treatment plant. The three structures being added to the plant’s mechanical treatment system will increase its capacity and keep it compliant with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit program.
The upgrade project has a $31 million price tag.
