Associated Press
KENT, Wash. -- Police in the south Seattle suburb of Kent say a woman is accused of shooting a man in the face as they were talking into a coffee shop.
KOMO-TV reports that Kent Assistant Chief Derek Kammerzell says the two were entering a Starbucks as customers Tuesday when the woman drew a gun and fired as the man opened the door. The woman fled.
Witnesses rushed to help the man, who was bleeding from a wound in his cheek. Police say he was able to identify the woman. A few hours later, she turned herself in to Tacoma police and was arrested.
KING-TV reports the man was listed in serious condition at a hospital.
Police are trying to determine a motive for the shooting.
