It’s time to make the pilgrimage out to Carnation again. This weekend the second annual Timber! Outdoor Music Festival is finally here. Like every other event produced by the folks at Artist Home Booking, Timber! is about so much more than just the music (which is always amazing).
At Timber! you can go swimming, hiking, kayaking, stargazing, paddle boarding and just about anything else you could think of doing in the river or forest. Oh yeah, and while you’re enjoying these activities you might notice some of your favorite musicians are right there next to you. Last year I ended up sharing a root beer with Kris Orlowski and he wasn’t even there performing.
The lineup boasts Charles Bradley (The Screaming Eagle of Soul himself), Damien Jurado, J Mascis, Smokey Brights, The Comettes, Lonesome Shack and so many more you shouldn’t miss.
Everett’s own Fauna Shade will be performing on the main stage this Friday at 2:20pm. You always leave an Artist Home event with a new favorite band and I wouldn’t be one bit surprised if Timber! attendees walk away from this weekend really high on Fauna Shade.
Timber! Outdoor Music Festival is this Thursday through Sunday and tickets are only $65 for the whole weekend with a weekend camping pass only $30. No excuses for missing this. Just check out the highlights from last year below.
