Van collides with light rail trail train in Seattle; 5 hurt

SEATTLE — A van has collided with a Link light rail train in Seattle, injuring five people.
Authorities say the crash happened along Martin Luther King Way South at the South Brandon Street intersection in the Columbia City neighborhood around 3:30 p.m. Friday.
KOMO reports that a 6-year-old boy was taken to Seattle Children’s Hospital in stable condition while the others were being taken to Harborview Medical Center with minor injuries.
