Associated Press
PORTLAND, Ore. — Authorities arrested a man who was tight-rope walking on the cables of a Portland bridge.
Portland police said Benjamin Lovitz, 21, was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass.
Police were called to the Steel Bridge early Saturday by people who thought he might be a jumper. Instead, Lovitz was walking the wires between the bridge’s two tallest towers.
Police blocked off the entire bridge until Lovitz came down. He was quickly arrested.
