What: Rose ‘Oranges &Lemons’ is a brilliantly colored floribunda rose of orange splashed with yellow stripes. Its blooms are approximately 4 inches across and are produced in clusters giving the appearance of a “bouquet on a stem.” It is continually in bloom during the summer and is almost thornless. A mildly fragrant rose, it received the ‘Rose of Special Merit’ award from the Royal National Rose Society in England.
Sun or shade: Full sun is ideal for this rose.
Size: It has arching canes that reach 6 feet, so it is ideal to train as a short climber with some support. Its shape also lends itself to cascade over a rock wall.
See it: At the WSU Snohomish County Master Gardener Demonstration Garden at Jennings Memorial Park, 6915 Armar Road, Marysville.
