STANWOOD — A manhunt in Stanwood on Thursday ended in the arrest of a suspect accused of stealing a truck and assaulting a deputy.
Police were called about 12:30 p.m. when a trick was stolen from the 2600 block of Norman Road, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
When a deputy found the truck, he was attacked by a man who had been standing nearby. The deputy received minor injuries and the man ran away, Ireton said.
The man was found and arrested about 2 p.m. in the area of Jensen Road and Church Creek. No other details were released Thursday.
