Edmonds-Woodway’s Ana Sabates has committed to Seattle Pacific University to compete for the Falcons’ gymnastics team.
Sabates competed for the Cascade Elite Gymnastics Club in Mountlake Terrace.
“Ana is a beautiful gymnast to watch,” Seattle Pacific head coach Laurel Tindall said in a press release. “She has the difficulty and the execution on bars to be on of our top bar workers.”
Sabates will join the team when school starts in September. Her first collegiate competition will be Jan. 9, 2015 with a home dual meet against UC Davis.
