Woman’s death on cruise ship deemed not suspicious

JUNEAU, Alaska — Police say an 87-year-old Missouri woman died of natural causes on a cruise ship in Juneau last week.
Police investigated the death after the woman’s body was found on the Holland America Oosterdam while the ship was in port.
Juneau police spokesman Lt. David Campbell told the Juneau Empire that it appears Corrine Underwood died from natural causes.
Police were required to investigate since the death was not attended.
