Published:
MOSES LAKE — A woman drowned while inner-tubing with family and friends in a creek at Potholes State Park near Moses Lake.
The Grant County sheriff’s office said the 30-year-old fell off her tube in some rapids Sunday afternoon and did not surface. Divers found her body.
KNDO-TV reported that the drowning was the second death of the weekend at the park. A young couple who were camping awoke Saturday and found their 10-month-old son dead. Deputies do not suspect a crime.
