Published:
US Youth Soccer announced Monday that Snohomish has been selected as the host site for the 2015 Region IV (West) Presidents Cup tournament.
The event is scheduled for June 9-14 at Stocker Fields.
The tournament is expected to draw 130 boys and girls teams in the U-13 through U-17 age groups. They will compete for a regional title and a berth in the 2015 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup, scheduled for July 9-12 in Overland Park, Kan.
“It is always exciting to begin planning for future US Youth Soccer Regional Presidents Cup events,” US Youth Soccer president John Sutter said in a press release, “and part of that initial planning is choosing the best possible host city for each of our competitions.”
