Front Porch: Edmonds schools foundation gets new name
The foundation's new tagline is “Shaping students' futures,” and there's a new logo as well.
The foundation was first founded in 1984 by then-Superintendent Hal Reasby following two bond-measure failures. The group is run by an all-volunteer board and provides money for classroom grants, after-school study programs, scholarships and special events. Learn more and donate at foundationesd.org.
