OREGON CITY — Authorities say a neck chain with a cross and distinctive blue stones that an Aloha man wore helped his family and friends to identify his body, which was found more than a week ago in a field in Clackamas County.
The sheriff’s office said Wednesday the man is a homicide victim, killed by a gunshot, and it is hoping for tips from the public.
He was identified as 45-year-old Misael “Gallo” Delgado Nunez.
The sheriff’s office says the last known sighting of Nunez was on Aug. 9. His body was found two days later between Wilsonville and Aurora.
