RE/MAX Direct Realty has announced that Simon Pedersen has joined the office located at 110 4th Ave. in Edmonds. Pedersen, who is also licensed in Florida and speaks four Scandinavian languages, lives full-time in Edmonds. He will be working as a full-time associate, specializing in residential single- and multi-family homes and condominium properties.

Good deeds
It was announced that the July 12 Puppy Putt motorcycle ride, sponsored by Machinists Union District Lodge 751, raised close to $3,500 for Guide Dogs of America. District 751 is Guide Dogs of America’s top fundraiser. Over the past five years, the union has raised close to $1.5 million for the charity, including a record $384,000 in 2013.
Massage Envy Spa and the Arthritis Foundation will hold the fourth annual Healing Hands for Arthritis event on Sept. 17. In addition to donating part of the proceeds from that day’s services to the Arthritis Foundation, the Northgate, Shoreline, Everett, and Bellingham Massage Envy locations will offer those currently living with arthritis a free one-hour massage session.
