It was announced that the July 12 Puppy Putt motorcycle ride, sponsored by Machinists Union District Lodge 751, raised close to $3,500 for Guide Dogs of America. District 751 is Guide Dogs of America's top fundraiser. Over the past five years, the union has raised close to $1.5 million for the charity, including a record $384,000 in 2013.
Massage Envy Spa and the Arthritis Foundation will hold the fourth annual Healing Hands for Arthritis event on Sept. 17.
