We’re going to need a bigger boat: Following a recent discovery in Morocco, scientists have a better picture of a bizarre 50-foot-long sharklike dinosaur. Spinosaurus, which lived 95 million years ago, had a long neck, strong forearms and powerful jaws. Imagine a “Jurassic Park” dinosaur crossed with the great white from “Jaws.”
Or just wait until next week’s premiere on Syfy of “Sharkasaurus.”

A wee reprieve: With a week remaining before Scotland votes on its independence, a new poll shows 53 percent electing to remain part of the United Kingdom.
It helped, some Scots said, that Parliament dropped its requirement that their men put something on under their kilts.

We, the dudes and babes, in order to form a more awesome union: Among the new reality shows on Fox is “Utopia,” which throws 15 people together on rural acreage in California for a year to make rules and attempt to establish a working society. So far the cameras have mostly caught the “pioneers” bickering over the rules and choosing up sides.
Sure you could just watch C-SPAN, but most of the “Utopia” cast members already have better tans than even John Boehner.
